As part of your Kiwi Foo experience, we provide all meals and snacks for the weekend. We attempt to cater for all dietary needs with vegetarian, vegan, gluten and dairy free options available with all meals.
Meals are served buffet style in H2. Please be courteous to your fellow attendees and take smaller portions on your first pass through the buffet. You are welcome to come back for seconds after everyone has had a chance to go through. Remember to save room for dessert!
Beverages, morning and afternoon tea, and late night snacks are provided in the staff room. Feel free to bring a beverage with you at mealtime, but please bring your glass back with you to the staffroom afterwards.
Below is a general menu. The caterer may make changes if she’s struck by a creative mood, but she will maintain the balance of choices so no-one is left out. She usually tries to provide local seafood as part of the meal whenever possible, so be prepared for a delicious surprise.
Breakfasts: Scrambled eggs, smoked salmon. Variety of toasts and English muffins with butter, jam, or peanut butter. Oatmeal, muesli, fruit.
Lunches: Sandwich bar. Choice of breads, cold meats, cheeses, fresh salad vegetables, assorted prepared salads and a variety of condiments.
Friday dinner: Taco bar. Grilled beef and chicken, black beans and mashed pinto beans, rice, grilled vegetables, lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheeses, sour cream, and choice of corn or flour tortillas. Cake and ice cream for dessert.
Saturday dinner: Indian night. Choice of 3 curries (at least one vegetarian), dhal, rice, naan bread, variety of hot and cold salads. Cake and ice cream for dessert.
